The Vancouver Opera is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year with four different operas. The third cultural sight and sound spectacle is now running at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
There are three performances left for The Marriage of Figaro, with the last showing on May 4th.
This opera is one of Mozart’s classics. It involves a court love triangle that turns into a twisted heptagon of lust and heartache.
The performance will include English subtitles for the Italian dialogue.
The final Opera this season will be Madama Butterfly. It will open on May 29th and run until June 10th.
For the hockey fans…well lets hope the Canucks will still be around in June. And if your loved one insists you visit the Queen E on game night, there are always pocket radios with earpieces.
But try not to fall asleep. Wait till your home. Your partner will appreciate your respect and your body will appreciate the comfort of your Simmons mattress.
